Dinesh Karthik retired after the end of IPL 2024 season. He played the role of wicketkeeper as well as finisher for Royal Challengers Bangalore and won the hearts of the fans with his explosive batting. After retirement, he has once again returned to RCB. However, this time he will not play as a batsman or wicketkeeper. The RCB franchise has assigned him a new task for IPL 2025.
