Due to this, the Indian team won the trophy, but there was a controversy over Surya's catch. Amidst these controversies, South African veteran cricketer and commentator Shaun Pollock has answered the questions raised on Surya's catch.
Shaun Pollock has told the whole truth about Suryakumar Yadav's catch. In an interview given to Times of Karachi, he said that the catch taken by Suryakumar Yadav of Miller was completely correct. There was no flaw anywhere in it. He clarified that Suryakumar Yadav did not move the cushion of the boundary rope back. Pollock also praised Surya's catch. Let us tell you that Shaun Pollock was present on the field during the match. Now after his statement, it becomes clear that the allegations being made on Team India are baseless.
Debate is over, Miller's catch was fine, the cushion didn't move, Surya didn't stand on the cushion, brilliant bit of skill – Shaun Pollock pic.twitter.com/RnKiYAlYry

Suryakumar Yadav's catch was in the news since the day of the final match. On one hand, his catch was being praised, while on the other hand it was being claimed that his foot had touched the boundary rope. There were also allegations on his catch that the boundary rope was moved back from its actual place. According to ICC's boundary rules, it should have been a six, but the umpire gave a wrong decision in haste. Team India has defeated South Africa by cheating.
