India captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and elected to bat first against South Africa in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 final. “The pitch looks good and we are hoping to put up a good total on the board. I want the players to take it as a normal international game. I don’t want the players to be under pressure,” Rohit Sharma said.
Aiden Markram would have batted first as well. “We wanted to bat first. The pitch looks dry. I am hoping to get some help from the pitch and put India under pressure. We will have to give our best,” Aiden Markram said.
