The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 final match between India and South Africa will take place on Saturday, June 29, at Barbados’ Kensington Oval Stadium. Under MS Dhoni’s guidance, the Rohit Sharma-led side claimed the T20 World Cup title in South Africa in 2007. Now they have to wait to achieve that feat again.

South Africa, on the other hand, will be motivated to win their first ICC T20 World Cup crown. Despite the Men in Blue’s dominance in the competition, they are in fantastic form going into it, and the Aiden Markram-led team will be trying to make sure they leave empty-handed.

Hurricane Beryl is en route to the Caribbean.

After putting up incredible performances in the main tournament, South Africa and India are the only teams to remain undefeated in the T20 World Cup 2024. The tournament runs of the two teams have been rather different. The team captained by Rohit Sharma has crushed every team it has played in the competition, including formidable opponents like Australia, Pakistan, and England.

On many instances, the Proteas have narrowly avoided elimination while making it to the final. In the group stage, Bangladesh and Nepal gave them a serious competition.

They almost completed their elimination in their last Super 8 match against the West Indies, who were the co-hosts, when they chased the amended 123.
