In the ongoing Chennai Test between India and South Africa, Team India has scored a lot of runs. By the end of the first day's play, the Indian team had broken an 89-year-old record by scoring 525 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. On the second day, captain Harmanpreet Kaur broke a record along with Richa Ghosh. The Indian team has become the team to score the most runs in an innings in the history of women's Test cricket. Earlier this record was in the name of Australia, which had scored 575 runs in February 2024. Team India has scored 591 runs till the drinks break.
