However, upon reaching Trinidad airport, the pilot came to know that there were some problems in landing a small private aircraft at Barbados airport, due to which the entire airport has been closed. After this, the players of the team along with their families remained stranded in Trinidad for 6 hours. Along with them, commentators and ICC match officials also remained stuck at the airport. Some sports journalists complained about this on social media. There is no information yet whether the South African team was able to leave from there or not.
