The British surrendered again in front of 'Bapu', India got a ticket to the final with a 'hat-trick' on the first ball

In 1947, Mahatma Gandhi freed the country from the British. Bapu's non-violence movement forced the British to leave India and the country gained independence. 77 years later, another 'Bapu' has avenged India's humiliation in front of the British. Only this 'Bapu' is a little violent in his work and causes destruction.

This Bapu, like Mahatma Gandhi, has come from the land of Gujarat and is engaged in taking the country to new heights. Indian cricket team's 'Bapu' i.e. Akshar Patel ended England's reign as world champion with his excellent bowling in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2024 and took Team India to the finals.

It was a difficult target, Akshar made it impossible

All-rounder Akshar Patel, famous as 'Bapu' in Team India, destroyed England's batting with his spin in the semi-final played in Guyana and gave Team India a memorable victory by 68 runs.

About 3 years ago, Akshar Patel had shaken England in the same way in the Test series, but now it was the turn of T20 cricket and that too was the most important match. This was the test in which Team India had failed 2 years ago. Then England had defeated them by 10 wickets. This time Team India took revenge, that too in a very special way, whose hero proved to be Akshar Patel.

Akshar Patel came in at the very end and scored 10 runs in just 6 balls but his real job was bowling and he did not spend much time in it. It was believed that Team India's score of 171 runs would prove to be difficult for England, but Akshar Patel made it impossible from the initial blows itself.

Akshar entered in the fourth over and took the wicket of captain Jos Buttler on the very first ball. Akshar's hat-trick series started from here. Now you will think that there was no hat-trick in the match, then how did Akshar do this?

The game ended with a 'hat-trick' off the first ball

Let us answer this question as well. This is not a regular hat-trick but a different kind of hat-trick, which will not be recorded in any record but it worked for Team India. Actually, Akshar bowled 3 consecutive overs between the 4th and 8th overs. In all these three overs, Akshar took wickets on the very first ball. After Buttler, he bowled Johnny Bairstow in the next over and then sent Moeen Ali back to the pavilion on the first ball of the 8th over. These 3 wickets destroyed England's hopes of a comeback. Akshar gave only 23 runs in his 4 overs and took 3 wickets. For this performance, he was chosen as the Player of the Match.
