IND vs ENG: India-South Africa will clash in the T20 World Cup final, England's one-sided defeat

Revenge was not taken by defeating Australia, revenge was taken by defeating England. The same England which had knocked out Team India in the semi-finals in Adelaide about 2 years ago in a one-sided manner, was defeated by Rohit Sharma's Team India in an equally bad manner to settle the score.

In the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2024 in Guyana, Team India defeated England by 68 runs to make it to the final. With the help of strong innings of Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar, India had posted a strong score of 171 on a difficult pitch, after which defending champion England collapsed for just 103 runs in front of the spin of Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel.

For the last 2-3 days, there were apprehensions that this match would be washed out due to rain and in the beginning, it seemed to be happening when the match started with a delay of about an hour and a quarter. Then there was another interruption for some time in between but after this, not the clouds of Guyana, but Team India completely rained down on England.

First, the excellent partnership of captain Rohit and Suryakumar spoiled England's good start. Then Akshar finished England's game with a flurry of wickets in the powerplay.

Team India had a bad start this time too and Virat Kohli was dismissed cheaply again, while Rishabh Pant also could not last long. Something similar happened in the last match against Australia and like that match, once again captain Rohit Sharma took charge, where he got excellent support from Suryakumar Yadav.

Rohit batted strongly and completed his half-century in just 36 balls and made a great partnership of 73 runs with Surya, which proved to be the biggest difference in the match.

After the dismissal of these two, Hardik Pandya, Akshar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja played short but fast innings in the last overs and took the team to a tremendous score of 171 runs. On the pitch of Providence Stadium
