Gill-Rituraj will open while these 3 players including Jaiswal are out, playing XI for the first T20 against Zimbabwe announced
ZIM vs IND: After the T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian team will leave for Zimbabwe to play a five-match T20 series. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar has announced Team India. The command of India has been given to Shubman Gill. The first match will be played on June 6. It is believed that in the first match, Shubman Gill and Rituraj Gaakwad can open the innings for the Indian team, while 3 players including Yashasvi Jaiswal can be shown the way out.
Rituraj and Gill can play the role of opening batsman
- Shubman Gill is sure to play in the first match against Zimbabwe, because he has to take charge of the team as well.
But which player will he give a chance to along with him, Jaiswal or Gaikwad? This is the big question.
- It is believed that he can convince Gaikwad to be his partner. Rituraj recently participated in the Maharashtra Premier League, he is also in great form, while Jaiswal has not got a chance in the World Cup yet.
