Schedule day will be available for 250 minutes i.e. 4 hours, 10 minutes extra

  • There is no reserve day like in the first semi-final match to be played between Afghanistan and South Africa.
  • If it rains during the match between India and England (IND vs ENG), then ICC has given 250 minutes i.e.
5 hours and 10 minutes extra time on Schedule J for this match. Within which the match can be completed.

Each team will get a chance to bat for 10 overs instead of 5 for the result

  • The group stage saw matches being interrupted due to rain, however, each team was required to play five overs to achieve a result.
  • But if rain disrupts the final and semi-finals then each team will be given 10 overs to bat.

If the result is not declared by 3:20 pm then India will be in the final

  • The third point is that the match will start at 8 pm Indian time. The match gets stopped or delayed due to rain.
  • In such a situation, the deadline for this match will be 3:20 pm, meaning the result of the match can be awaited till the next morning.
  • Despite all this, if the result does not come out then Team India will get the ticket to the finals being the table topper in Super-8.
