The last match of the Super Eight of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 was played between Afghanistan and Bangladesh (AFG vs BAN) on Tuesday morning. • When the Bangladesh team (AFG vs BAN) came to bat in the second innings, the rain left no stone unturned to spoil the fun of the match. The matches were stopped several times due to frequent rain.
• Due to this, Bangladesh's overs were reduced and the team got a new target of 114 runs in 19 overs. However, before this, an incident was witnessed, the video of which is rapidly going viral on social media.
• Because of this video, the Afghanistan team is being accused of cheating. Actually, before the match was halted for the second time due to rain, the Bangladesh team was two runs behind its target as per the DLS method.

The player did such an act

• In such a situation, Afghanistan team AFG vs BAN coach and former England player Jonathan Trott gestured outside the field and asked his team to slow down the game.
• Immediately after seeing this, the dashing all-rounder Gulbadin Naib suddenly lay down on the ground holding his leg and the physiotherapists were called on the field. Due to this the match had to be stopped for a few moments.
• However, looking at them it can be said that Gulbadin Naib was pretending to disrupt the match. On the other hand, Bangladesh opener Liton Das was also seen laughing while imitating the Afghan player.
• Two overs after this incident, Gulbadin Naib came to bowl and took the wicket of Tanzim Hasan.
