Afghanistan Celebration: Afghanistan cricket team led by Rashid Khan has created history in the ICC T20 World Cup. The team qualified for the semi-finals by registering a spectacular win against Bangladesh on Tuesday. The two teams clashed in St. Vincent, in which the Afghan team won by eight runs. After winning the match, the Afghanistan team looked very emotional. While the team celebrated with full enthusiasm (Afghanistan Celebration), tears were seen in the eyes of some players.

Afghanistan Celebration: Afghanistan players got emotional

  • The last match of the Super Eight of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 was played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan on 25 June at 6 am Indian time.
    Both the teams faced each other in St. Vincent.
  • This match was greatly affected by rain, due to which the overs of Bangladesh's innings were cut short. Despite this, the Afghanistan team performed brilliantly and won the match.
  • With the win, Rashid Khan and company qualified for the semi-finals. This is the first time in the history of the T20 World Cup that Afghanistan has made it to the semi-finals.
