Afghanistan Celebration: Afghanistan cricket team led by Rashid Khan has created history in the ICC T20 World Cup. The team qualified for the semi-finals by registering a spectacular win against Bangladesh on Tuesday. The two teams clashed in St. Vincent, in which the Afghan team won by eight runs. After winning the match, the Afghanistan team looked very emotional. While the team celebrated with full enthusiasm (Afghanistan Celebration), tears were seen in the eyes of some players.

Afghanistan Celebration: Afghanistan players got emotional

• The last match of the Super Eight of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 was played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan on 25 June at 6 am Indian time.
  Both the teams faced each other in St. Vincent.
• This match was greatly affected by rain, due to which the overs of Bangladesh's innings were cut short. Despite this, the Afghanistan team performed brilliantly and won the match.
• With the win, Rashid Khan and company qualified for the semi-finals. This is the first time in the history of the T20 World Cup that Afghanistan has made it to the semi-finals.

Rashid Khan's eyes became moist

• Afghanistan's victory against Bangladesh was very special for the players.
  Due to this, the whole team was seen celebrating with enthusiasm (Afghanistan Celebration). However, in the meantime, the eyes of some players were also seen moist.
• After the Afghan team secured a ticket to the semi-finals, captain Rashid Khan and opening batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz were seen crying. Meanwhile, head coach Jonathan Trott hugged the captain.
• Bowling consultant Dwayne Bravo also celebrated the team's entry into the semi-finals (Afghanistan Celebration).
  Meanwhile, a member of the coaching staff took Rahmanullah Gurbaz around on his shoulders.

Australia out of T20 World Cup 2024

• The biggest blow from the victory of the Afghanistan team has been to the Australian cricket team. In fact, after facing back to back defeats, Mitchell Marsh's team has been eliminated from the T20 World Cup 2024.
• However, if Afghanistan team had lost the AFG vs BAN match, Australia would have got a ticket to the semi-finals. But Bangladesh's defeat has shattered the Kangaroo team's dream of winning the trophy.
