After the T20 World Cup 2024, Team India has to tour Zimbabwe for which the selectors have announced a 15-member team. Shubman Gill has been made the captain of Team India, while five players have been selected in the T20 team for the first time. These players include Abhishek Sharma, Riyan Parag, Nitish Reddy, Tushar Deshpande and Dhruv Jurel.

IPL 2024 was won by KKR and injustice has been seen with four of its players. Captain Shreyas Iyer, Venkatesh Iyer, spinner Varun Chakraborty and Harshit Rana have also not been selected in the team. Iyer scored 351 runs in 14 matches at an average of 39 in the 17th season of IPL. His strike rate was also more than 146.

Venkatesh Iyer also scored 370 runs in 14 matches at an average of more than 46. His strike rate was also 158. This player was the player of the match in the IPL qualifier and in the final too Iyer scored a half-century to lead the team to victory but despite this he did not get a place in Team India.

Injustice with Varun Chakraborty and Harshit Rana

Varun Chakravarthy, who took 21 wickets in 15 matches for KKR, also did not get a chance in the Indian team. Apart from him, Harshit Rana took 19 wickets in 13 matches.
