The England captain Jos Buttler played a captain innings during the match against the United States and helped the side to win the match by 10 wickets.

The US has lost two matches in the Super 8s match against South Africa and West Indies and will be looking for a victory in the match. On the other hand, England is playing their last Super 8 match with one victory and one defeat in the matches against West Indies and South Africa.

With the target of 116 runs, England openers Philip Salt and Jos Buttler forged a 117-run partnership to win the match in the 10th over. Philip Salt scored 25 runs on 21 deliveries while Jos Buttler scored 83 runs in 38 deliveries.

In the 9th over of their innings, Buttler smashed five sixes and amassed 32 runs in the over. In the fourth delivery of the 10th over, England scored 117 runs for wicketless and won the match by 10 wickets.
