Lucknow: England's experienced fast bowler Chris Jordan took a hat-trick in T20 International and became the first English player to do so. Let us tell you that the Super-8 match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 was played between the United States and England at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados. In this match, England won the toss and decided to bowl first and their bowlers proved this decision right. The batting of the USA team could not work in this match and the entire team was all out for 115 runs.

In this match, Jordan came to bowl the 19th over and he got Corey Anderson out on the first ball of this over. After this, he did not get any wicket on the second ball. However, on the third ball of the over, he clean bowled Ali Khan. On the fourth ball of the over, Chris got Nostush Kenjige out of the field by LBW. On the fifth ball, the fast bowler completed his hat-trick by bowling out Saurabh Netravalkar and he has become the first England bowler to do so.

This is the third hat-trick of the T20 World Cup 2024. Earlier, Australia's legendary fast bowler Pat Cummins has taken a hat-trick in two consecutive matches in this World Cup. He first did this feat against Bangladesh, while in his next match he got a hat-trick against Afghanistan. With this hat-trick, Jordan has become the 9th player to do so in the World Cup. Apart from this, he has become the second bowler in the world to take 4 wickets in an over of the World Cup. Before him, this feat was done by Ireland's Curtis Campher against the Netherlands in the year 2021.

In this match against America, 35-year-old Jordan took 4 wickets while conceding 10 runs in 2.5 overs. The result of his bowling was that the USA team was all out for 115 runs. Nitish Kumar scored the highest score of 30 runs in 24 balls for them. Sam Curran and Adil Rashid also bowled well and took 2-2 wickets each.
