Is this batting or a joke, who gets out like this? Many questions will arise after watching this video

On one hand, everyone's eyes are on the T20 World Cup 2024 where some tremendous results have been seen. While America defeated Pakistan, Afghanistan first defeated New Zealand and then Australia. Some new players have surprised with their batting and bowling. But T20 cricket is not going on only in the West Indies, but some tournaments are also being played in India, in which Maharashtra Premier League is also very much in the news these days.

Although some great matches have been seen in this tournament, but the way in which a batsman lost his wicket surprised everyone. Not only surprised but also made people laugh but also raised doubts about the match.

The final of the Maharashtra Premier League T20 tournament was played on Saturday, June 22. In this final, Ratnagiri Jets and Eagle Nashik Titans clashed. Ratnagiri won the title but during this final, one of its batsmen crossed all limits of carelessness.

This batsman got out in a way that has rarely been seen. Such a wicket, seeing which first you will laugh at the batsman but then questions will also arise in the mind whether there is something wrong in it.

Who gets out like this?

Actually, Ratnagiri Jets batted first in this match and scored 160 runs in 20 overs. Kiran Chormale scored the highest 35 runs for them but the 8th number batsman Sahil got the attention. In the 19th over of the innings, Sahil was bowled by Nashik's fast bowler Mukesh Chaudhary but the way he was bowled was shocking.

Actually, Sahil wanted to play a big shot on the fourth ball of the over of Mukesh Chaudhary, who plays for MS Dhoni's team Chennai Super Kings in IPL. For this, he had come out a lot from the off stump but he left his entire stumps empty and Mukesh bowled a straight ball and bowled him. Sahil did not even try to play a shot on this and let the ball go straight to the stumps.

This video raises questions

Now it is possible that Sahil did not notice that he was too far outside the off stump and he let the ball go in the hope of a wide on the leg side but this does not seem so easy and therefore raises questions. Any batsman bats on the off stump or middle stump stance and if he steps outside the off stump, he also knows that his stumps will be clearly visible. Not only this, Sahil did not even try to play the ball even though it was not too far outside.

Watching the video will make you laugh initially but it also makes the game suspicious. Especially in many T20 leagues held at the state level, cases of corruption have come to light earlier as well. Recently, BCCI has also taken action in such a case and has stopped any state association from starting a T20 league without its permission.
