BCCI : All the veteran players of Team India are currently seen playing in the T20 World Cup 2024 under the leadership of captain Rohit Sharma. Within a few days of the end of the T20 World Cup 2024 edition, Team India will have to go on a tour of Zimbabwe. Which is going to start from 6th July.
In such a situation, veteran players like Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Jaspreet Bumrah including captain Rohit Sharma have refused to go on the Zimbabwe tour. Due to which now the BCCI selection committee can give the responsibility of captaining Team India to this young player on the Zimbabwe tour.
Shubhaman Gill can become the captain of Team India on Zimbabwe tour
The BCCI Chief Selector can give the opportunity to captain Team India on the Zimbabwe tour to the young batsman Shubman Gill.

Talking about Shubman Gill, he does not have much experience of captaincy yet. Shubman Gill has captained Gujarat Titans for only one season in IPL cricket so far, but Shubman could not get the team qualified for the playoffs under his captaincy.

If the selection committee does not want to give the captaincy of Team India to Shubman Gill, then BCCI Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar can give the opportunity to young batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad to captain Team India. Talking about captaincy experience, Ruturaj Gaikwad has the experience of captaining in domestic cricket as well as IPL cricket.
