Afghanistan will take on Australia in Match 48 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The contest will be played at Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown, St Vincent.
Afghanistan lost their opening game of the Super 8 stage against India and will be looking for a win to keep themselves alive. Australia, on the other hand, got the better off Bangladesh in their previous game and will be focusing on another win to strengthen their chances of making it into the semi-final.
The pitch at Arnos Vale Stadium is renowned for being favorable to bowlers, with spinners typically achieving greater success than fast bowlers. This presents a significant challenge for batsmen, who must work hard to post a competitive total. Historically, captains winning the toss at this venue often opt to bat first.
