While India were 0-1 down in the five-match Test series against England at home after losing the opener in Hyderabad, Rohit Sharma & Co. despite injury and form concerns made a remarkable turnaround to beat England 4-1. The series witnessed as many as five players receiving their Test caps but yet the side went on to outplay the Three Lions.
There was clearly a sense of camaraderie between the players and captain Rohit with several videos of the senior batter and his toungue-in-cheek humour with the youngstrers going viral on social media. After the win, the 36-year-old went on to share a post featuring Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel, Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal on his social media. More than the picture itself it was the caption that made the post an instant hit on social media. "Garden mein ghoomne wale bande," Rohit captioned his post. Several members of the Indian cricket fraternity- the likes of Yuvraj Singh and Suryakumar Yadav left a comment on the post. While Yuvi left a laughing emoji as a comment, Suryakumar wrote: "Gill and Jaiswal definitely".
