Brandon King out of the entire tournament

West Indies suffered a major setback during the first match of Super-8 against England. The team's opening batsman Brandon King got injured while batting. Actually, he fell down while trying to take a run. He suffered a serious injury to his right shoulder. After this, the 29-year-old player was seen groaning in pain.

The team physio rushed to the field and treated him. However, King did not recover from the primary treatment and was taken out of the field. West Indies informed about this on its official X handle and said that Brandon King will be scanned as soon as he reaches Barbados.
