South Africa defeated England by 7 runs to register their second win in Super 8 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Chasing 164 runs in 20 overs, England were restricted to 156/6 despite sensational hitting by Harry Brook and Liam Livingstone.
For South Africa, Kagiso Rabada and Keshav Maharaj took two wickets each. Earlier, the Proteas managed 163/6, with Quinton de Kock scoring a fifty. David Miller also played well for the Aiden Markram-led team. Jofra Archer dismissed three batters.
