England's women cricketer Nat Sciver Brunt recently made headlines after marrying her teammate Katherine Brunt. After being in a relationship for about five years, the two got married on 29 May. Earlier, the two got engaged in October 2019. But now there is a ruckus in the sports world regarding Nat Sciver's pregnancy. The England all-rounder has made a big revelation in a podcast about her pregnancy and child.
Speaking on the PCA's Under the Lid podcast, Nat Sciver-Brunt revealed that she had missed England's first T20I against Pakistan due to egg-freezing treatment. "In the time between coming back from New Zealand (where England toured in April) and this (series), I thought it was a good time to go through the process of freezing eggs, creating embryos and putting them in the freezer for future use," the 31-year-old explained.
He further said, "It's a strange process, but I really wanted to do this. Katherine and I want to start a family, but I also want to continue playing cricket. We are lucky that we have more than one option. We are just thinking about what is the best way to do this. I want to have a child after I stop playing cricket and I think Katherine also wants to have a child."
Let us tell you that Katherine Brunt and Nat Sciver Brunt were part of the England team in the ICC Women's World Cup 2022.
