The Indian cricket team is currently playing in the 2024 T20 World Cup and is considered a strong contender for the title. At the same time, after the World Cup, Team India will tour South Africa. Cricket South Africa has announced this on Friday, June 21. India will tour South Africa for a four-match T20 series in November this year. The series will start on November 8 at Kingsmead Durban and end on November 15.
Cricket South Africa has announced the schedule of the upcoming India vs South Africa T20 series through its X account. A four-match T20 series is to be played between India and South Africa in November 2024. Cricket South Africa said in its statement released on X, "Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are pleased to confirm the schedule of another exciting KFC T20 International (T20I) series, under which India will tour South Africa in November 2024."
“The KFC T20I series will feature four matches, starting on Friday 8 November at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium in Durban. The next match is scheduled to be played on Sunday 10 November at Dafabet St George's Park in Gqebarha. The series will then move to the Highveld, where SuperSport Park will play a match on Wednesday 13 November and the final match of the series will be played at DP World Wanderers Stadium on Friday 15 November. Match tickets will go on sale on 19 August.”
Let us tell you that India toured South Africa last year, where both teams played Test, ODI and T20 series. India won the ODI series 2-1, while the Test and T20 series were tied 1-1.
