Team India is currently playing the T20 World Cup in the West Indies. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the entire team is working hard to win this trophy. If the Indian team reaches the final, then the team will return after this match on June 29. However, even after this the players are not going to get any relief, because the Indian team has to play many series one after the other. Recently, BCCI had announced a home series against Bangladesh and New Zealand just before the Champions Trophy. Now another series has been added to it, for which Team India will tour South Africa.
After the T20 World Cup 2024, the Champions Trophy is to be held in Pakistan in 2025. However, the ICC has not released the schedule for this yet, but Pakistan has kept the February and March window. Before this big ICC tournament, the Indian team will be busy playing many series continuously. The BCCI has added the South Africa series just before the Champions Trophy. This series has been scheduled immediately after the New Zealand series, for which the South Africa Cricket Board has released the schedule in collaboration with the BCCI. As soon as the New Zealand series ends on November 5, the Indian team will leave for South Africa. A total of 4 T20 International matches will be played there in a week i.e. from November 8 to November 15.
Nov 8: 1st T20, Durban
Nov 10: 2nd T20, Port Elizabeth
Nov 13: 3rd T20, Centurion
Nov 15: 4th T20, Johannesburg
