This was the condition of the last series

These two teams had earlier played a bilateral series against each other in the year 2023-24. A series of three T20, three ODIs and two Test matches were played between the two. The three-match T20 series ended in a 1-1 draw as the first T20 was washed out due to rain.

The three-match ODI series was in the name of Team India, where India, led by KL Rahul, defeated South Africa in their own home. If we talk about the two-match Test series, the winner could not be decided in this as well. Like the T20 series, the Test series also ended at 1-1.

Hardik Pandya can be the captain of India

In the last T20 series against South Africa, the command of the Indian team was in the hands of Suryakumar Yadav. Actually Rohit Sharma was given rest. Whereas Hardik Pandya was injured. That is why the team management gave this big responsibility to Surya.

Hardik can lead Team India in the series to be held in November. Rohit can be rested once again before the Test series against Australia.
