Albania's Jasula became the first substitute player to score a goal in his own net in Euro Cup football. The first goal for Croatia was scored by Croatian player Kramarić in the 74th minute and in the 76th minute Klaus Jasula scored a goal in his own net to give Croatia a 2-1 lead. The match completed its 90 minutes and then went into stoppage time. It was Jasula who scored an own goal in the 95th minute to equalise the game and save Albania.

Albania took a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute when Albanian player Christian Asllani gave a brilliant pass to Quasim Laçi from the right and converted it into a goal. In the first half, Albania made great moves but missed good chances. The second blow was that Croatia had no shots on target. But after the break, Croatia scored two consecutive goals.

In the 74th minute, Andre Kramarić equalized the score with a brilliant goal. But the surprising goal for Albania came 2 minutes later. Again, the shot on goal by Kramarić went into the feet of Albanian substitute Klaus Jasula and turned into an 'own' goal. With Jasula's help, Croatia took a 2-1 lead.

Albania lost 2-1 due to Jasula's mistake. Albania had two close chances in the final stage and defeat was almost certain. However, the chances did not convert into goals. Croatia's front remained calm. In the 95th minute, Albania's Mario Midaj played the ball brilliantly towards midfielder Jasula and Jasula scored the goal to give Croatia the win.

Croatia would never have thought that the winner of an own goal would eventually score an equaliser. Albania would never have thought so either. However, Jasula atoned for his sin by scoring an equaliser in the Euro Cup series. In this 'Group-B' category, Spain and Italy are in the top 2 positions with 3 points with a win, Albania is in third place with 1 point and Croatia is in fourth place with 1 point. It will be very difficult for both teams to advance to the last 16.
