  • A three-match ODI series is being played between the Indian women's team and South Africa in India. By winning the first two matches, the team led by Harmanpreet Kaur has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
  • Meanwhile, BCCI has made a sudden change in the team. They have included a 17-year old fast bowler from Gujarat in the squad.

  • Bowler Shabnam Shakeel, who was waiting for her debut in international cricket, has entered the Indian women's team (Team India). She has been selected for all three formats.
  • The Board of Control for Cricket in India has given the news of Shabnam Shakeel joining the team to cricket fans through a press release. They wrote,
  • "The women's selection committee on Thursday announced the inclusion of right-arm pacer Shabnam Shakeel in India's squads for all three formats for the ongoing multi-format series against South Africa."

  • Let us tell you that a series of all three formats will be played between South Africa and Team India. After the three-match ODI series, a single Test match will be played between the two teams.
