• While on one hand the Indian men's team is playing the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies, on the other hand the women's team is clashing with South Africa.
• A three-match ODI series is being played between the Indian women's team and South Africa in India. By winning the first two matches, the team led by Harmanpreet Kaur has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
• Meanwhile, BCCI has made a sudden change in the team. They have included a 17-year old fast bowler from Gujarat in the squad.

• Bowler Shabnam Shakeel, who was waiting for her debut in international cricket, has entered the Indian women's team (Team India). She has been selected for all three formats.
• The Board of Control for Cricket in India has given the news of Shabnam Shakeel joining the team to cricket fans through a press release. They wrote,
• "The women's selection committee on Thursday announced the inclusion of right-arm pacer Shabnam Shakeel in India's squads for all three formats for the ongoing multi-format series against South Africa."

• Let us tell you that a series of all three formats will be played between South Africa and Team India. After the three-match ODI series, a single Test match will be played between the two teams.
• The Proteas team's India tour will end with a three-match T20 series. The Test match and T20 series will be hosted by MA Chidambaram Cricket Stadium in Chennai.
