: After playing his first season for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team in the IPL, Daryl Mitchell was playing for New Zealand in the recent edition of the T20 World Cup 2024. New Zealand's journey in the T20 World Cup 2024 ended in the group stage itself.
Meanwhile, there are reports in the media that Daryl Mitchell will not be able to participate in the upcoming season for the Super Kings franchise, popularly known as Mahendra Singh Dhoni's team, while some media reports also claim that the franchise has signed Noor Ahmad in place of Daryl Mitchell.
The second edition of Major League Cricket will be played within a few days of the end of the T20 World Cup 2024. Even before the start of that season, a veteran player like Daryl Mitchell has refused to play for the Super Kings franchise Texas Super Kings in the upcoming season due to his injury. Due to which the franchise has also added Afghan spinner Noor Ahmad to their team in his place.
Texas Super Kings (TSK) shared the information about the ouster of Daryl Mitchell and the signing of Noor Ahmad through their official Twitter account, writing that
“Darryl Mitchell is out of the Major League Cricket 2024 season due to injury. Texas Super Kings have signed Afghanistan left-arm spinner Noor Ahmed as a replacement”

Afghanistan cricket team's young left arm leg spinner Noor Ahmad is currently participating in the T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies for his country Afghanistan.
On the other hand, if we talk about Noor Ahmad's professional T20 career, then Noor Ahmad is such a spinner that every team in league cricket wants to include him. The Texas Super Kings team is also very happy to have Noor Ahmad with their franchise.
