According to information received from media reports, Gambhir was asked some of the following questions - 1. What are your thoughts regarding the coaching staff of the team?

2. How will you handle the transition phase with some ageing players in both batting and bowling departments? 3. What are your views on split captaincy, fitness parameters related to workload management and addressing the team's failure to win ICC trophies?

Gambhir also gave a great answer

Former Indian team's legendary batsman Gautam Gambhir gave a brilliant answer to the questions asked by CAC. Because, according to the information received, Gambhir while answering all the questions said that fitness test should be kept as just a parameter. But the player who is performing well should not be excluded due to Yo-Yo test.

While he said that, in ICC tournaments, Team India loses in the semi-finals or finals. But according to Gambhir, players have to be told about the pressure of big matches. Whereas no player should be made a burden in the team in the name of senior players. Only those who perform well should get a chance in the team.

In IPL 2024, Gautam Gambhir was made the mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and as soon as Gambhir became the mentor, the team was successful in winning the IPL trophy after 10 years. Whereas even before this, Gambhir has made KKR champion twice under his captaincy.
