• South Africa's team (SA vs USA) defeated America by 18 runs in the first match of Super-8.
• Innings opener Reeza Hendricks was dismissed cheaply after scoring 11 runs off 11 balls.
• But, from the other end, opener Quinton de Kock held the fort.
  He continued his aggressive attitude.
• De Kock scored 74 runs in 40 balls. During this, 7 fours and 5 sixes were also seen from his bat.

Andries Gous could not make America win
