Pakistan's fast bowler Haris Rauf was in controversy for fighting with a cricket fan. Now Pakistan's legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi has come under controversy for one of his selfies. His selfie with some fans was claimed to support Israel. After this, his selfie went viral and he became the target of fans. He started getting trolled heavily on social media. Afridi had to give clarification for this. He has also put forth his side on the Palestine issue.
Shahid Afridi took a selfie with some fans while he was in the UK. Now a group named North West Friends of Israel has posted this picture and claimed that Afridi has supported this Israeli group in the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine. The group also thanked him for this support, which created a ruckus.
Pakistani international cricketer @SAfridiOfficial stopped to offer his support for our call to release the hostages at our NWFOI vigil last Sunday in Manchester.

Fans started calling him a person who supports oppression. Some fans even said that he has always supported oppressive forces, whether in the country or outside. After this, Afridi had to give his clarification. He said that some fans in Manchester approached him for a selfie. He agreed out of respect but later his photo was misused. He said that he takes selfies with fans all over the world and this is also one of them.
Imagine strolling down a street in Manchester (UK) and so-called fans approach you for a selfie. You oblige, and moments later, they upload it as some form of Zionist endorsement. Unbelievable! Please don't believe everything that is uploaded.

Afridi has also given his opinion on the Palestine issue. He said that it breaks the heart to see innocent people suffering in Palestine. None of his pictures promote such things where human life is in danger. Afridi prayed for peace and an end to this war.
