Indian women defeated South Africa by 4 runs in the second match of the three-match ODI series with the help of centuries from Smriti Mandhana and captain Harmanpreet Kaur. With this, India took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Wolvaardt and Marizanne scored centuries for South Africa but it was not enough to give the team victory. A total of 4 centuries were scored in this match.
Batting first, Indian women scored 325 runs in 50 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Mandhana scored the most runs from the team. She scored a century of 136 runs in 120 balls with the help of 18 fours and 2 sixes. This is her second consecutive century. Captain Harmanpreet scored an unbeaten century of 103 runs in 88 balls with the help of 9 fours and 3 sixes.
