Aaron Jones, the stand-in captain of the United States of America, has won the toss and elected to bowl first against South in first match of the Super 8 stage.

“We’re going with the extra spinner. I don’t think conditions are going to be too different from Dallas,” Aaron Jones said.

“We weren’t sure what to do,” Markram said.

“We would also have leaned towards bowling but we’re not too bothered with the outcome of the toss.”
