Six years have passed since England punished Australian bowlers in a record-breaking performance at Nottingham, but the performance remains fresh in the memories of cricket fans.
On this day, England, fresh from changing their white-ball template came out all guns blazing to script history.
The Three Lions took power-hitting in cricket to another level and broke a plethora of records, including the highest ODI score and the most number of sixes in an ODI innings.
Courtesy of blazing centuries from Alex Hales and Jonny Bairstow and brisk half-centuries from Jason Roy and Eoin Morgan, England posted the then-world record ODI score of 481 for 6 in 50 overs. The English batters hammered 21 sixes in the innings to script another ODI record as hapless Aussies looked for answers to the insane onslaught without any avail.
There was never a dull moment in the English innings and that is all the more the reason to watch all the sixes all over again.
