Two superstars of the Indian women's cricket team did wonders against South Africa. We are talking about Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur who scored brilliant centuries by thrashing the South African bowlers. Mandhana played an innings of 136 runs in 120 balls, while captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored an unbeaten 103 runs in 88 balls. Indian captain Mandhana's century was amazing because she stepped on the crease in the 24th over, despite this she managed to score a century in 87 balls.

Harmanpreet completed her century in style

Harmanpreet Kaur completed her sixth ODI century in the last over. By 49.2 overs, Harmanpreet's score was 88 runs in 85 balls. After this, she completed her century by hitting a six and two fours. However, she got a lifeline on the score of 88 runs. The South African wicketkeeper missed the chance to stump her.

Harmanpreet Kaur's havoc

Harmanpreet Kaur showed her attitude as soon as she came to the crease. This player added 50 runs with Mandhana in just 46 balls. After this, both of them made a century partnership in 90 balls and Harmanpreet reached half-century in just 58 balls. After completing the half-century, Harmanpreet Kaur started playing big shots. On the basis of rapid hitting, she reached the century in the next 29 balls.

Harmanpreet hit 9 fours and 3 sixes in her innings. Her strike rate was more than 117. In this matter, she was ahead of Mandhana who scored 136 runs at a strike rate of 113. However, both the batsmen put South Africa completely on the backfoot by making a partnership of 171 runs in 136 balls.
