ICC took strict action against this player!

Tomorrow on 20th June, the Super 8 match is going to be held between India and Afghanistan (IND vs AFG) but in the meantime ICC has taken strict action against a player.

ICC has found this player guilty of violating the code of conduct and this is the reason why the board has taken strict action against him.

This player does not belong to Team India but is a Bangladeshi player. His name is Tanjim Hasan Shakib, who has been found guilty in a case by the ICC. Tanjim Hasan Shakib is 21 years old and is one of the important players of Bangladesh. In such a situation, taking action against him is not good news for the team.

Why did ICC take action?

Actually, what happened was that Bangladesh played the last match of the league stage against Nepal where Bangladeshi fast bowler Tanjim Hasan Shakib did a shameful act.

He misbehaved with Nepal captain Rohit Paudel during his over. After bowling the ball, he was continuously looking at Rohit angrily.

After this, he also tried to touch Rohit's body in an aggressive manner. When the matter went beyond limits and a scuffle was about to take place, the players and umpires intervened, otherwise the matter would have become something else. It can be clearly seen in the video that Bangladeshi fast bowler Tanjim Hasan Shakib had come fully prepared to fight with Rohit. After this, ICC took strict action against this bowler and fined him 15 percent of the match fee for violating Article 2.12 of the Code of Conduct.

Along with this, this bowler was also given demerit points.

Tanzim Hasan Shakib admitted his mistake

It is worth noting that Tanzim Hasan Shakib has accepted his mistake. That is why he has only been fined. Meanwhile, Bangladesh team has reached the Super 8 while Nepal has been eliminated. Let us tell you that Bangladesh is going to play its first match against Australia on 20th June. This match will start at 6 am as per Indian time.
