Before the match between Afghanistan and India, Sir Wesley Hall gifted his book to Virat. After this, they were seen laughing and joking. Kohli was also listening to 86-year-old Hall very carefully and was smiling at his words.

Virat Kohli has not been able to show his batting prowess in the T20 World Cup 2024. He batted in 3 matches during the group stage, in which he could score only 5 runs.

He was a victim of a golden duck against America, while he could score only 4 runs in the high voltage match against Pakistan. Apart from this, he also scored only 1 run in the opener match against Ireland. Now Team India is in the Super-8 and every match is important to go to the semi-finals. In such a situation, Virat is sweating it out in the nets. He practiced shots like pull shot and lofted drive, so that maximum runs can be scored in the powerplay while opening with Rohit Sharma.
