Peshawar Zalmi vs Quetta Gladiators PSL 2024 Award Winners Man of the Match: Saim Ayub - 30 off 12 and 2/20 in three overs. Energetic batter of Match: Babar Azam Superpower of the day: Mohammad Haris Islamabad United vs Karachi Kings PSL 2024: Who said What? Rilee Rossouw (Quetta Gladiators Captain): Our batting line up let us down. It was a good wicket. We brought it back really well. 200 was an average score on that wicket. Our batting wasn't good. Something we need to discuss. At the end of the day, we need to score one more run than the opposition. I didn't realize it was a hat-trick. Akeal is a hard working guy. Every captain would want a bloke like him. We have been leaning on the spinners to bring us back into the game. Babar Azam (Peshawar Zalmi captain): All credit to boys. I said at the toss, the wicket has 190 plus runs. We utilized well till 10 overs. I was planning to go till 210. But we tried to touch 190 and Powell helped us. We were lacking in the bowling department. Every bowler was executing well. The fielding was good. We took all the catches. Sometimes we get a different opinion from outside the fence and our coaches give us an edge. Sammy has loads of experience. I also try and communicate well with him. Saim Ayub (Man of the Match): Enjoying the chance in bowling. I'm getting good start in batting but I have to go long in the innings; it will benefit team if I bat longer. I'm trying to attack and put an impact early on and if get the flow then I try to keep the momentum even after the powerplay. (playing with Babar) feels great, batting with him since last season, lucky to see him closely while batting with him. Mehran Mumtaz (Peshwar Zalmi Spinner): My second game. I wanted to focus really hard. Shakeel had hit two sixes when I came in to the attack. But I was trying to hit the 5-6 metres length and that helped. Everyone supports me. Babar helps me a lot. My brother supports me and so does my coach. We are very happy to be in the play-offs. We would want to finish well.
