Lucknow: All the eight teams have been decided for the Super-8 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Let us tell you that Bangladesh has confirmed its place for the next stage by defeating Nepal by 21 runs and now with this the names of all the teams have been decided. This time a total of 20 teams participated in the World Cup and they were divided into 4 groups and the top-2 teams in the points table from each group were going to qualify for the next stage. Now almost all the matches of the group stage are over and we have got the top-8 teams.

All the teams in Super-8 have been divided into two groups and each group has 4 teams. India has been placed in its Group-1. Apart from India, this group includes Australia, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. Apart from this, there are a total of four teams in Group-2 where all the teams will play three matches. This group includes Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies and United States of America. Let us tell you that the American team was participating in the T-20 World Cup for the first time and they have qualified for the next round in the very first time.
With the names of the eight teams being decided, its complete schedule has also been revealed. Let us tell you that India and America qualified for the next round from Group A. Apart from this, Australia won 4 out of 4 matches from Group B and secured the first position and qualified. England also reached the Super-8 from this group. If we talk about Group C, then Afghanistan and West Indies have qualified for the next round from here. South Africa and Bangladesh teams have confirmed their place from Group D.
The Super-8 matches will start from June 19 and the first match will be played between America and South Africa in Antigua. While in this round, India will play its first match against Afghanistan on June 20.
