The T20 World Cup 2024 is in full swing. Everyone's attention is focused on this, where some surprising results have been seen. Along with this, many great catches have also been seen, but apart from this tournament being played in America-West Indies, another T20 competition is also taking place, in which a catch has been seen, which has rarely been seen before today. A catch in which the player was not trying to take the catch, but was trying to save himself and in this very attempt he did this miracle.
These days T20 Blast tournament is going on in England, in which Durham and Lancashire clashed on Sunday 16th June. Durham batted first in this match and scored 218 runs in 20 overs. Lancashire came back after a bad start and started giving a strong reply. When the Lancashire batsmen started showing their explosive style, a sensational catch was seen.
Durham's medium pacer Paul Coughlin was bowling the seventh over. On the fourth ball of his over, Matthew Hurst stepped forward and played a fast shot. On his shot, the ball went back towards the bowler. In such a situation, Coughlin tried to save himself from the ball coming at bullet speed. He raised his right hand to prevent the ball from hitting his head but luckily the ball hit his palm directly and he caught it.

As soon as Coughlin did this, the batsman was shocked. He put his hands on his head because he could not believe it. Coughlin himself was shocked but the rest of his team players jumped with joy and went straight to Coughlin and hugged him. The batsman could not believe it but what he saw was correct and he had to return. This amazing performance of Coughlin had an effect and Durham won the match by a small margin of just 2 runs. Coughlin took 2 wickets in the match.
