POINTS TABLE : The 33rd match of the T20 World Cup 2024 between Team India and Canada (IND VS CAN) was to be played at the Florida ground but the match was canceled due to poor playing conditions.

After the cancellation of the match, Team India and the US team have qualified for the Super 8 from Group A. On the other hand, the team has suffered a huge loss by reaching the Super 8 because if Team India led by captain Rohit Sharma has to make its place in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup, then Team India will need to win so many matches.

If Team India defeats Afghanistan in this match, then the chances of Team India reaching the semi-finals will increase to a great extent.

Team India has a chance to take revenge

The final match of Super 8 will be played between Team India and Australia (IND VS AUS) on 24th June. If Team India defeats Australia in this match to be held on 24th June, then Team India will be able to take revenge of the defeat it has been facing in ICC events for some time. Due to which captain Rohit Sharma would definitely want to defeat Australia in the final match of Super 8.
