• Actually, recently Mohammad Kaif has given an interview in Star Sports, in which he has told the reason for Pakistan team's exclusion from T20 World Cup 2024.
• Mohammad Kaif has claimed that the Pakistan team had to be out of the World Cup because of Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Aamir.
  He said,
• "In the first match, Mohammad Aamir was bowling wides in the super over. It was very poor bowling. You lose that match because of bowling. In the next match, you couldn't chase 119 runs."
• "He batted poorly and dropped catches. I understand he beat Canada but he didn't do anything worth praising there."

The captain was reprimanded

• Mohammad Kaif took the matter forward and reprimanded Babar Azam.
  Giving a statement on his batting, the former Indian player said,
• “Babar Azam was set (against India) and couldn’t win the match. Mohammad Rizwan was also playing well. They lost the match because of batting as well.”
• “Where both batsmen were set. They crumble under pressure. They drop catches and are unable to bat under pressure. The fans' prayers are not with him. There is chaos there."
• “Who is supporting him? Everyone is standing against him; whether you talk about his former players, I am watching everyone; no one is supporting him even though he has played very badly.”

Pakistan out of T20 World Cup 2024

• It is worth noting that the match between USA and Ireland which was to be played on 14th June was washed out due to rain, due to which USA got only five points.
• With this, it also made it to the Super-8.
  However, due to America qualifying, the Pakistan team had to be out of the T20 World Cup 2024.
