India will face Australia and Afghanistan in the Super 8 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Their is a possibility of Bangladesh making it to the next round from the same group. Piyush Chawla has warned the Indian team from the Mitchell Marsh-led team and Rashid Khan’s unit.

India have topped Group A after beating Ireland, Pakistan and the United States of America. They will face Canada in their last league contest on June 16 in Florida. Chawla doesn’t see Bangladesh troubling the Men in Blue but he feels Australia and Afghanistan are dangerous and competitive.

“Australia are always dangerous in the ICC events. They can beat any team. We have already seen their performance in this World Cup. Afghanistan have a good squad. Their bowlers are enjoying bowling in the West Indies.

“Bangladesh have played good cricket but they are still not that competitive. They are still far behind from becoming a strong team. However, Group A looks good,” Piyush Chawla said on Star Sports.

Team India hasn’t seen impressive performances from the batters. The pitches at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium were difficult for the willow holders. However, the senior members are expected to return to form with the bat in the next round.
