During the T20 World Cup 2024, former Indian captain and coach Anil Kumble has broken his silence regarding the new head.

Anil Kumble revealed

• Although the names of many veterans have come forward for the new head coach, which also includes stars like Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag.
  But Gautam Gambhir's name is leading the way for the post of head coach.
• Many reports have revealed that Gambhir is going to be the next coach of the Indian team. Recently, Gauti also made KKR the champion of IPL 2024 under his mentorship.
• After this, many veteran players had confirmed Gambhir's name. However, now Anil Kumble has also revealed Gauti's name.

Gambhir praised

• In his conversation with Star Sports, Anil Kumble praised Gautam Gambhir a lot.
  He admitted that Gambhir has all the qualities to handle the team. He has done a great job as a captain for India and KKR as well. Kumble said
• “Gambhir is definitely capable of the role of head coach. We have seen Gautam handle teams, he has been a captain for India, for his franchise.
• He has all the qualifications to become a coach. But, coaching the Indian team is a little different. So you have to give him time to settle down.”
