Kamran Akmal has made another bizarre statement after Pakistan’s elimination from the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. He feels his brother Umar Akmal has better statistics than Virat Kohli in the T20 World Cup. Kamran failed to provide the numbers but continued to praise his sibling.

For the record, Kohli is the leading run-scorer in the history of the T20 World Cup and holds several records in the shortest format of the game. On the other hand, Umar doesn’t feature in Pakistan team and his career is almost over.

“I have stats with me that shows Umar has a better strike rate and more runs that Virat Kohli. Umar is now way near to Kohli, considering the stature of the Indian batter.

“We don’t have a PR company and we don’t talk about it on social media. If Umar’s stats would have been compared with the 15 players of the current Pakistan team, you would see destruction in Pakistan cricket.

“People shout about Virat Kohli and his dominance in world cricket. I will send the stats to you,” Kamran Akmal said.
