South Africa's stalwarts were able to score only 115 runs

The batting lineup of the South African team is considered to be the most dangerous in the T20 World Cup 2024. Due to which everyone's eyes are on the batsmen of this team. But all the stalwarts of South Africa flopped against Nepal and the team could score only 115 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.

From the African side, Reeza Hendricks played an innings of 43 runs in 49 balls. Apart from this, Tristan Stubbs played some aggressive shots and scored 27 runs in 18 balls. Apart from this, no batsman could do anything special. On the other hand, from Nepal's side, Kushal Bhurtel took 4 wickets for 19 runs.

Nepal lost by 1 run

Nepal team started off well while chasing the target of 116 runs given by South Africa and the openers added 35 runs for the first wicket. But after this the team lost wickets continuously. Due to which the team needed 2 runs to win on the last ball.

However, South Africa did not let Nepal score any runs on the last ball and won the match by 1 run. Wicketkeeper batsman Asif Sheikh scored 42 runs for Nepal. While Anil Shah played an innings of 27 runs. Spin bowler Tabrez Shamsi took 4 wickets for 19 runs from the South African team.

Nepal team won hearts
