Pakistan are facing massive flak for their early elimination from the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Ahmed Shehzad, who was once called Pakistan’s Virat Kohli, has slammed the Babar Azam-led team. The sub-continent nation was dependent on the result of the USA vs IRE match but it was called off due to rain in Florida, with the co-hosts confirming their place after getting one point.

Pakistan have just two points from three matches so far. The two back-to-back defeats against the USA and India played a big role in their early departure.

Ahmed has been questioning the performances of the players since the start of the event in the States and the West Indies. He was miffed with Babar’s return as captain and even called him a fake king.

In his latest tweet, he didn’t spare the players.

“The deserving team is through to Super 8 round. If you’re depending on Ireland to defeat someone, you seriously don’t deserve to qualify. Don’t think even “Kudrat Ka Nizam” works for those who are not deserving or ready to improve. All eyes on PCB chairman now,” he wrote on X.

Pakistan will play Ireland in their last game before heading back home.
