The Group A T20 World Cup 2024 match between United States of America and Ireland is likely to abandoned due to rain at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Florida on Friday.

The match was scheduled to begin at 8 PM IST, but the toss was delayed due to a wet outfield. Two inspections, at 8 PM IST and 9 PM IST, followed. A third ground inspection is scheduled for 10 PM IST.

According to the ICC, the cut-off for a five-over game is 11.46 PM IST.

In case the match is washed out, USA will secure qualification to the Super Eight stage, while Ireland and Pakistan will be knocked out from the competition.
