US vs IRE Weather Report

The weather in Florida has raised concerns in today’s night clash. On Wednesday, Sri Lanka’s match against Nepal was called off due to rain and the match couldn’t be started till the cut-off time.

Since then, the weather hasn’t improved in Florida and if there is a chance for a washout, the US will join India and will qualify for Super 8s. Local weather forecasts show there will be an 80% chance of rain.

United States has been impressive in the tournament winning their first match against Canada by seven wickets and edging Pakistan in the match which they won by Super over.

During the match against India, despite missing the services of Monank Patel, the co-hosts gave an impressive fight as Saurabh Netravalkar dismissed Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. But they lost the match by seven wickets.

On the other hand, Ireland is at the bottom of the Group A points table with a run rate of -1.712 losing both matches. After suffering a defeat in the match against India, they lost the match against Canada for 12 runs.
