Andrew Flintoff : The T20 World Cup 2024 edition is currently being played on the grounds of West Indies and America. So far we have seen many exciting matches in this edition. Meanwhile, some media reports are claiming that the son of England's legendary all-rounder Andrew Flintoff has got a place in the team and now Andrew Flintoff's son can be seen hitting helicopter sixes on the field like Dhoni.
Rocky Flintoff, son of England cricket team's legendary all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, has been signed by his county team Lancashire. Rocky Flintoff has played 5 matches for Lancashire in their second playing 11 so far this season, but recently Rocky Flintoff was selected in England's Under 19 team for the tour of Sri Lanka. A few hours after that, Rocky Flintoff was given his first contract in professional cricket by his county team Lancashire.
Rocky Flintoff, while giving a statement to the media after signing a contract with Lancashire at the age of 16, said that
“I am very happy and excited to have signed my first professional contract with Lancashire”
He said in his statement so far that
“It’s something I’ve been working on ever since I started playing cricket, so to sign for my home county is a dream come true”
Along with Rocky Flintoff, the younger son of England's legendary all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, his elder son Corey Flintoff also plays in Lancashire's second string team. Rocky Flintoff and his elder brother Corey Flintoff recently played cricket together in the same playing 11 for Lancashire.
At present, Andrew Flintoff is present with the England team during the T20 World Cup (T20 World Cup 2024), while in The Hundred, Andrew Flintoff is seen coaching for Northern Superchargers.
